Inside Jag Stories

One app, one connected workflow.

The same weapon profiles, DOPE, Watch data and results move with you from practice to match day and into the hunting field.

Built around the shooterSet up once, then carry the same shooting information through training, competition, review and hunting.
One shooting ecosystem

More than a ballistic calculator.

Jag Stories is designed around the full shooting journey: prepare the weapon, train the shooter, compete, review performance and preserve the hunt.

D

DOPE & weapon profiles

Create weapon profiles, custom and saved loads, ballistic tables and MOA/MIL DOPE that follows the selected weapon through the app.

⌚

Wear OS companion

Use a compatible Wear OS watch for active training, trigger/shot detection, stability measurements, timing, calibration feedback and match-stage information.

T

Measured training

Timed Dry-Fire Stability, Visual Target Tracking and Reaction Drill turn practice into measurable timing and stability data.

M

Matches, video & analytics

Plan stages, capture hit/miss and shot times, review stability and stage video, compare matches and export detailed analytics.

P

Shooter Performance

Connect training and match data through 90-day, 180-day and 1-year views, including stability, acquisition time, first-shot performance and hit-rate trends.

Training

Measure what happens before the shot.

Jag Stories uses the sensors and microphone available on a compatible Wear OS watch to turn dry-fire work into useful timing and stability measurements.

TDFS

Acquire the target, break the shot when you judge you are ready, and let Jag Stories score the stability around that decision.

VTT

Move through generated visual targets while the Watch records accepted trigger events, movement, stability and timing.

Reaction

Five-round reaction sessions with randomized cues, reaction-time history and persistent personal-best metrics.

Train → Compete → Review

Training data should lead somewhere.

Shooter Performance connects training stability and acquisition trends with match first-shot timing, hit rate and stability on hits versus misses.

Competition

From stage brief to post-match review.

Stage distances, DOPE, shot timing, hit/miss, Watch stability and video stay connected so every match can become useful performance data afterward.

The Jag Stories loop

Train → Compete → Review → Hunt.

Specialist apps often solve one part of the problem. Jag Stories is built to keep the shooter's information and performance connected across the activities that actually use it.

One profile, multiple contexts

Use your weapon and DOPE in practice, match stages and the hunt. Review what happened, identify weaknesses and carry those lessons back into training.

Watch compatibility

Built for compatible Wear OS smartwatches.

Jag Stories uses watch microphone, motion sensors, audio cues and phone-to-watch communication. Compatibility can vary by watch model and hardware capabilities.

WEAR OS

Samsung Galaxy Watches

Jag Stories is designed to work with compatible Wear OS Samsung Galaxy Watches for Watch connection, DOPE sync, calibration, training drills and match workflows.

POTENTIAL

Other Wear OS watches

Google Pixel Watch, recent OnePlus Wear OS watches, Xiaomi Wear OS watches and TicWatch models may also be compatible. Microphone, motion-sensor and background-operation behaviour can vary between watch families.

FUTURE PLATFORM

Garmin

Garmin watches do not run Wear OS, so the current Jag Stories Watch app cannot be installed on Garmin. Garmin Connect IQ support may be investigated separately in future.

Compatibility note: Compatibility depends on the watch running Wear OS and providing the microphone, motion sensors and background capabilities used by Jag Stories. Older Samsung watches that use Tizen are not compatible with the current Wear OS companion.
Access levels

Choose the package that fits how you use Jag Stories.

Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrading does not delete saved Jag Stories data; records above a lower plan's limits remain stored and can become fully available again after a future upgrade.

Frequently asked questions

Jag Stories at a glance.

Clear answers for shooters, competitors and hunters discovering Jag Stories through search.

What is Jag Stories?

Jag Stories is an Android and Wear OS shooting app that connects weapon profiles and ballistic DOPE with measured training, PRS match workflows, performance analytics, Hunter's Room and Shared Hunt records.

Does Jag Stories work with Wear OS watches?

Yes, on compatible Wear OS smartwatches. Watch capability depends on the model's sensors, microphone and background-operation support.

What is Shared Hunt?

A paid Host creates and publishes a Shared Hunt. Anyone, including FREE users, can join as a Hunter. Viewers can follow locked animal results and statistics through the app or a browser, without access to photos. Animal results synchronize over the internet; photos are shared locally between participating devices.

Can I use Jag Stories for PRS matches?

Yes. Jag Stories supports stage and round setup, DOPE and wind, hit/miss results, shot timing, Watch stability, Stage Video, Match Analytics and post-match review.

Is Jag Stories only a ballistic calculator?

No. Ballistic DOPE is one part of the platform. Jag Stories also connects training, competition, performance review, hunting records and Shared Hunts.

Where is my Jag Stories data stored?

Jag Stories is local-first. Weapon, DOPE, training, match and photo data primarily stays on your device. Shared Hunt can synchronize selected hunt details, member information and harvest results through the cloud when enabled; Shared Hunt photos transfer directly over local networks. See our Privacy Policy and Data Security pages.

Privacy by design

Local-first where it matters.

Jag Stories keeps substantial shooting, hunting and performance data on your device. Shared Hunts prioritize direct local Wi-Fi or host-hotspot synchronization, including photos, and use optional cloud synchronization for basic hunt updates when devices are apart. Cloud data is not a public social feed.

Read before you install

Review the Privacy Policy, Data Security, Permissions and Delete Data pages for details about local storage, device permissions, Shared Hunt photo exchange, Match Director communication and user-controlled backups.
